In order to support and develop the main business processes needed at the University, it is responsible for creating IT policies and making the necessary resource, performance and risk management to implement these policies, budgeting, planning, projecting, servicing, maintenance and operation of the relevant IT infrastructures.

It provides high quality service and technical support to students and staff. University Information Technologies offers versatile services of up-to-date technologies and related applications to support campus research, learning and teaching.

Our Duties and Responsibilities


  • ~ Installation, management and updating of servers serving the university,
  • ~ To provide design, installation and management of local network and internet services
  • ~ Making suggestions for the development or supply of special software needed within the university,
  • ~ Preparing, managing and updating the websites of the university and its units,
  • ~ Publication of announcements, news and events,
  • ~ Preparing the necessary infrastructure and providing technical support during conferences, seminars and presentations,
  • ~ Follow-up and operation of technology in order to maximize the possibilities of Information Technologies.
  • ~ Providing software and hardware support to all computers allocated to academic, administrative staff and students.
  • ~ Ensuring the redundancy and security of university data in accordance with the laws and institution policies
